Using Music and Media in the Digital Library

When you use AnswersVBS for your Vacation Bible School, you get access to a comprehensive digital library filled with music, videos, and other media resources designed to make your VBS easier to run.

1. Log into your event at MyAnswers.com

2. Click Library at the top navigation

3. Browse through the different content categories

A separate video covers all the content available in the library. This guide focuses specifically on music, videos, and media resources.

Navigate to the Music section to find:

• Simple songs for kids

• Contemporary theme music

• Traditional theme music

• All songs bundled and ready to use

Two Ways to Access Songs:

1. Stream Directly in Your Browser

• Click the Play button next to any song

• Preview songs to decide which ones you want to use

• Compare contemporary versus traditional versions

• Note: Requires an internet connection

2. Download for Offline Use

• Click the Download button to save the MP3 file

• Perfect for computers without internet access or disk drives

• Keep files locally for reliable playback

Each song is available in three different versions:

Full Stereo Version

• Complete song as you'd hear on a student CD

• Includes vocals and instruments mixed together

Split Track Version

• Lyrics on one channel, instruments on the other (left and right)

• Allows your audio technician to balance levels independently

• Useful for customizing the mix during live performance

Instrumental Only

• Music without vocals

• Great for sing-alongs or karaoke-style performances

All files are in MP3 format for easy compatibility with most devices and media players.

Presentation images contain the lyrics for contemporary theme songs, formatted for display during performances.

Download Process:

1. Navigate to Music Presentation Images in the Library

2. Click to download the zip file for your chosen song

3. Extract the zip file on your computer

Note: These are downloadable zip files rather than viewable slideshows, so you'll need to download them to see the individual images.

Most modern computers (both Mac and Windows) support zip files natively without requiring additional software. Any recent operating system will handle these files without issue.

What's Inside: Each zip file contains all the presentation images for that specific song.

The library includes numerous video types:

Stream in Browser:

• Each video has a built-in player for instant preview

• Click Play to watch immediately

• May be subject to buffering or connectivity issues

All sheet music is provided as PDF files.

How to Access:

1. Navigate to the Sheet Music section

2. Download the PDF for your desired song or collection

3. Open with any PDF reader

Example: The Incredible Race theme song sheet music PDF contains the complete musical notation for piano and vocals.

PDFs can be:

• Printed for your musicians
